Sea temperature - Lastovo

The sea temperature on the island of Lastovo is very high and suitable for swimming during most of the year. Lastovo island is located in the southern part of the Adriatic Sea which has higher sea temperatures than the northern part of the Adriatic, and in addition, Lastovo island records higher sea temperatures than the average sea temperature of the entire Republic of Croatia and sea temperatures in Dalmatia. The sea temperature on Lastovo is highest during August, and the sea temperature on Lastovo rises rapidly from April. The factor that most affects the sea temperature on Lastovo is the amount of sunshine hours, and the large number of sunshine hours during June, July, and August allow sea temperatures on Lastovo to reach up to 28 degrees Celsius (82.4 degrees Fahrenheit).
