Sea temperature - Lovran

The sea temperature in Lovran is suitable for swimming throughout the summer, but also throughout the month of September. Swimming is not recommended in winter months, as the sea temperature drops below 10 degrees Celsius (50 degrees Fahrenheit). The maximum sea temperature in Lovran reaches 28 degrees Celsius (82.4 degrees Fahrenheit) and is recorded in the month of August. The sea temperature in Lovran is determined by rainfall, wind and sunshine hours. The temperature in Lovran is similar to the sea temperature in Opatija and the sea temperature in Moščenička Draga since all three places are located relatively close to each other. The sea temperature in Lovran is also very similar to the average sea temperature in Istria and the average sea temperature on the Kvarner, and is usually slightly lower than the average sea temperature in Croatia.
