Senj is known as the city with the lowest sea temperature in Croatia. The sea temperature in Senj is strongly influenced by the wind (mostly bora) and cold continental waters, so the sea temperature in Senj is lower than in the surrounding northern Adriatic and the rest of Croatia. In Senj, you can swim in several places. The most popular beach is Ujča beach, located in the city center. There are also numerous cafes and restaurants. You can also swim at Prva Draga beach, which is about 2 km from the city center. There are also several beach bars there. For those who prefer quieter beaches, Kalić beach, located on the eastern part of the city, is recommended.
