Sea temperature - Slano

The sea temperature in Slano is extremely favorable throughout most of the year and higher than the average sea temperature in Dalmatia. Slano is situated in a deep bay on the southern part of the Adriatic, thus providing Slano with the geographical position for high sea temperatures. The sea temperature in Slano is not conditioned by the wind, as Slano is hidden from the wind, but is conditioned by the amount of sunshine hours and air temperature. The sea temperature in Slano rapidly rises from April and it is possible to swim almost every year from May until the end of September. The sea temperature in Slano is similar to the sea temperature in Dubrovnik and the sea temperature Cavtat.
