Sea temperature - Šimuni

The sea temperature in Šimuni is higher than the sea temperature of other places on the island of Pag, such as the sea temperature in Povljana or the sea temperature in Mandre, and it is usually higher than the average sea temperature on the island of Pag. The reason for this is the specific location of Šimuni, which is protected from the wind, and the shallow bay quickly heats up with high summer temperatures. Therefore, the sea temperature in Šimuni is suitable for swimming already from the end of May, and the swimming season lasts until September. The sea temperature in Šimuni is similar to the average sea temperature of the Republic of Croatia.
